HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

MISS PANG THONG CHING
Today's your day
You're finally finally 21!!!
(Although you look like it ages ago)
hahahaha...Just kidding...
Anywayz, hope you become:
Lagi cun
Lagi seksi
Lagi hiao
(memang ah ko dari dulu agi dah cukup cun, hehehe)
Stay siao
Love ya, muaxxxx
Too bad can't join your 'cocktail party' eh
Hahaha...see ya back in Johore, dear roomie

away..

Hey..
I'm stuck in KL now
Haven't actually finish uploading the pics that I want to
Yea,those taken in Bali
But with no access to Internet
Kinda hard ler,and inconvenient
So will only post 'em after I get back to Penang
What am I doing in KL?
Sigghhhhhh...
Have to help out at my aunt's newly opened
Restoran Taiping Lang
So anywayz
I'm entrapped at the restaurant
Coz' it's easier if all of us stayed upstairs
instead of commuting to the restaurant everyday
so...no life...
I've only been there,what 2 days?
It already felt like an eternity
and today's like,onli 12th
I have to stay till almost X'mas
Only get to cabut back to Penang
Working there is quite fun...
Same old thing lor,waitressing
But I've been so used to MSN-ing everyday
and surfing the Net everyday
reading blog entries everyday
Downloading anime everyday
Arrggghhhh...
The area there is quite new so there isn't a phone line yet
As in, no coverage for Telekom
so can't apply for Streamyx yet
Tak apa, sabar, sabar, kejap jer masa berlalu
But I miss penang food!!
And my friends in Penang...
Instead of losing weight (as I initially planned to)
Coz' my aunts both have lost so much weight
since the opening of the restaurant about a month ago
Maybe they keep rushing here and there kua
I'm gaining weight here instead
Basically what the restaurant is selling are home-cooked dishes ma
So since the business is quite good
Obviously it means the food is delicious
So it means I'm eating delicious food everyday
So if the food is delicious
You'll eat more right?
So if you eat more...then...
Go figure.
Not exactly Aerodynamics
Gah..I'm babbling
Today is offday for the restaurant
so I'm back at the apartment
Which is why I'm online now =P
Laterz have to go back to the restaurant
Sienzzz...

I'm back

guys I'm back!!
yes. although I landed in Malaysia on the 3rd, 11pm+...but...
it was a very taxing trip
(yes I meant it as a pun as well, the 100000 rupiahs airport tax)
newayz,I spent days and days sleeping in
upon reaching KLIA, although the trip was fun
But I am so happy to see familiar Malaysian faces
Listening to our Chinese dialects, Malay
MANNN....I love Malaysia!!
Haha
Anyways, before I recall on my Bali trip
I'd like to dedicate this entry to our scrumptious & yummylicious
P.E.N.A.N.G food~
Yeps...no doubt the best
Since I was in Penang on Monday
Aside from sleeping, the other thing I was busy doing was eating
Since my car is in Johor, no, didn't drive my SLK home
So basically there isn't any car to use here
Aunt's Getz is too new
Dad's too ngeow to loan me his car
(he needs to get to work anyway)
Bro's Kembara is too far
Anyway, I ended up riding Uncle's bike
Day 1--Monday
Batu Maung laksa
Day 2--Tuesday
Opposite PingHwa laksa
(I had a facial appointment anyway)
Day 3--Wednesday
Air Itam laksa
For the love of laksa
I rode all the way to Pulau Tikus
and also Air Itam
Yesterday ended up drenched
It was raining -_-"
Since I had 4 bowls of laksa in 3 days
I think it's enough...
Tonight going to eat something else liao
Btw,tonight I'm going to watch
Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam II
Since I went to watch the 1st at the cinemas
This time also have to continue the tradition

Over..O.V.E.R

that said
my exams are finally over
done with!!Muahahahahahahaaha..
yesterday was the final, miserable last paper
Vibration and Control
although, according to my coursemates
it's more like doing Advanced super advanced mathematics
When I read the paper, I was like, "OMG...what is this man?"
At first I was banking on Mohan
Since he sat beside me in the exam hall
Instead he went,"Psstt..ching,how to do ah,what's the answer?"
*slaps my forehead. Wrong investment
He was supposed to be the one helping me!!
HEHE..but then, it's already over!!!
yay yay yay yay
After the paper, went for lunch
Then upon reaching home...
Although I was so very tired and fatigued
Since I just slept like, 3 hours?
But..since I'll be leaving for KL on monday (er..tomorrow?)
so I have to clear my stuff, Scrubbed the bathroom clean
unfortunately...
Our miserable washing machine broke down few days ago
I don't know why it's so stupiak
Coz it breaks down every semester during exams
Anyway, I had to wash like, 2 pails of clothes?
Which accumulated during the past few weeks
(I know..Hey!..Exam period mar,exempted!!)
When I finished watching them, I was pooped
Then I told Sanyeong, "Thank God we live in this era"
Then I started rambling about how
"wai tai" our parents, grandparents were
No easy feat, good work-out,even
Haha, we went through that ordeal
in hostel life back in first year
Laterz, we went to Sentosa
to collect our bali trip vouchers from the agency
then,we went Permas Jaya
to have yummilicious infamous nasi lemak
But of course, it can't beat Penang Nasi Kandar
Hehe..After tat we went to City Square
Shopping!! Window shopping more though
Btw, went with thongching, sanyeong, cmin
The three of us who are going Bali
Got ourselves beach shorts
Oh we went permas jaya jusco also
everything was so Christmasy
Gosh,it's almost December
Time really flies
Newayz, we went to catch the movie "Zathura"
NEhh, the one which the is from the author of "Jumanji"
It was pretty decent --Adventurous, funny, exciting
although the li'l bro was kinda irritating
But it was a good movie
=)
Uh-huh,today it's time to pack
and finish watching some stuff I downloaded
Yea, wash my car
It's like, super yucky dirty
But yeah,happy holidayz to everyone!!!

mata tertampal setem

I suspect that:
I have stamps in my eyes.
Serious! The stamps are glued in my eyes
Ahbo...why?!!!??
I repeatedly, consecutively, regularly do the same thing
Oh yes, I also realise that I have brains the size of a peanut
Really...
Everytime, during exams, I misread the questions
Or...I never fail to finish reading the questions
No..I never finish reading the question
Like just now for Flight Mechanics
Question 4 ar question 4
(ouch...feels a dagger stabbing into my heart)
I keep wondering why what the miserable equation is.
Ishkk. Realized that actually the equation was given
Yeap
Written very properly below the question.
Ishk. Again.
(another stab)

A lot of marks man the question.
(stabs)
No use crying over spilt milk
Another miserable paper to go
Placed very high hopes just now's paper de..
Size does matter
yeah, like, the size of my brains and the stamps
Now somemore watching the modern version AhWong
(Remember Square Pegs? Roger Kwok & Jessice Hester Hsuan)
lou por zai ah lou por zaiiiiiii
Modern version is called Life Made Simple
okla..quite funny also. But...exam hor..
No mood d. Stabs myself again
=P
"Tears will get you sympathy
but sweat will get you changed"
so...complain also no use right?
Not bad le, my Full Metal Alchemist also watched a lot d
If only I study as hard as I do
watching drama/idle/procrastinate/play
I'd be in a very good shape

Another D.O.W.N

woo hoo, another paper is over--Aircraft Structure I...Yay..although the paper was bad as well, didn't manage to finish it in time, and also some parts were pretty messy.
Sigh.. but the tamparan was not as bad as Aerodynamics and Material Technology. Those two were awful, and I barely prepared for it as well (as in,the day before--
itulah, hiao don't want study) hehe..what to do,no point crying over spilt milk right? therefore as Joe said, procrastination--it's a matter of choice, not chance. But with only two miserable papers more to go, I really can't wait. I keep fantasizing about Bali trip. hehe but as
David said,
"If you were to really wear a bikini, please make sure to capture the correct angle"

Uh-huh,I get what he mean. Don't want to end up like this:

Uh-huh...although this pic was dated back quite some time ago (Miss Malaysia 2004) Andrea Fonseca...she was actually rated the worst for the swimsuit category in Miss Universe pageant. Sure lah...compared to this:

Yeah lah..such difference esp. the waistline (lolz)..that's why I have to start practising to 'capture the perfect angle' as soon as I finish my last paper,on the 26th...it'll be quite hectic also, because I have to clear up my stuffs, then start packing, and leave for KL by 29th..coz we are going on the 30th. Argghhh..should be thinking about my next exams..hehe..

Anyway, been watching a loy of anime lately. Yeah, finished School Rumble, Trinity Blood. Of course, am following faithfully, diligently Naruto, Bleach, nothing can beat these two yet..am also watching Mai Otome, Blood+. just started on Full Metal Alchemist. yea I know, am very outdated...it is pretty old anime d,since everyone's been singing praises about it. Haiyo..exam season somemore watch meh..(somebody pull my ear!) ..Still have One Piece, Gundam Seed DVD boxsets with me. But Gundam Seed is quite boring lah...no offense Gundam lovers!

Also, regarding the hoo-haa over the Dawn Yang issue...Yea, I'm like, the thousandth to participate in the Dawn-mania. She's hot. Period.

MARRIED AND DIVORCED TWICE.

A woman who had been married twice and divorced twice was fed up.
Her first husband beat her, and her second husband ran away with
another woman. Plus, she couldn't find a new lover who could satisfy
her sexually, so she put an ad in the classifieds:

Wanted: A good looking, single guy who won't beat me, won't leave
me, and is good in bed.

About a week later, her doorbell rings. She opens the door to find
a man with no arms and legs on
her front porch.

"I'm here about your ad," he says.

"You must be mistaken," she says.

"Let me explain," he says. "I can't beat you, I don't have any arms.

And I can't run away, because I don't have any legs."

"But," she asks,"How do I know you're good in bed?"

"I rang the doorbell, didn't I?"

P/s: Actually I spent an hour creating a post, but due to some screwed-up system which when I clicked "Publish Post", the whole thing disappeared. &*#$$$ So..lazy to re-entry d..Just ranting about the hot weather, the synopsis of the numerous animes I've been watching, the 3 papers I've gone through, my laksa (or lack there-of) Cold Turkey Syndrome, imagining myself in bikini in Bali with muh tourmates etc etc. So I'm, so signing out with a big reluctant sigh--Reality check. The exams are still on. Must. Continue. Study. Have. Been. Idling. Whole. Day. HAIHHZZZZZ..

naivete, fun, suicide, yada yada

Ok..arlow this is just goin' to be one shot of rambling.
ok i just got back from KL yesterday
8 days in total--amazing, fun, guilt
why is it so?
Well, so naive of me to lug my 30kgs of books to KL
yalor, been questioned my sanity by others
"what in the world are you doing in KL to study???"
Well, since I'm so bored out of my mind in JB
And penang is too far (although I miss pg laksa a lot!)
Feeling certain that I will not be able to study at all
if I were to go back to my lovely ol' penang
of course KL seemed reasonable
since puchong isn't exactly KL town..

Naivete's the word,no?Summarized:
Day 1(Fri)..too exhausted to go out
Day 2(Sat)..DVD marathon
Day 3(Sun)..Shopping spree
Day 4(Mon)..Party alrite
Day 5(Tue)..Eating spree
Day 6(Wed)..Party again
Day 7(Thur)..cheating myself (elaborate later)
Day 8(Fri)..Party
Day 9(Sat)..Makan-makan, belah back to JB

And my progress in studies: 0.4%
I'd say
Yea,partying doesn't take whole day
At first dear Linlin was supposed to join me
But later she said:
"Cannot lar...go KL sure can't study..
it's like committing suicide if I go down"
so she didn't *sobz
And the times that I was at home
It's DVD, anime (I brought Gundam Seed with me)
online, babysitting--or nanny?
Coz my cousin's parents are busy peeps
so have to take care and layan her
although there are 2 live-in maids
(btw,she's 11)
and when I feel real guilty,I'd lay out all my books
And attempt to study..
3 things happen 5 mins after that
Either I fall asleep
Or I start daydreaming
Or I find excuses to do something else
Arrghgh, forget it

Now to the fun parts
Shopping--not much..window-shopping nia
I went IOI Mall & Summit only
Went my cousins my age
Yea I went Velvet, Zouk, Rum Jungle and Zeta-bar
Velvet had this Mambo theme goin' on
Reminded me of Dirty Dancing 1 (classic movie!!)
Zouk was fine, Rum Jungle was ok
(hv 2 give face my fren who's spinning there, ehe)
Zeta-bar was...expensive

All in all, it was good
Since I'm alcohol intolerant, so didn't drink much
I know, what kind of barmaid was I?
Hey...work in a club doesn't mean have to CAN drink
rite? =)
yea, glad I met up with a few friends

And I read in a recent post by one of the bloggers
It struck me as well recently
There are two types of hot/pretty chicks:
Nice, friendly ones
And bitchy,mean ones
I've been fortunate to meet friendly nice ones
Hey, they're pretty, but they don't assume that
The world revolves around them
and that it's an honour for us to serve them
Can't say the same for the other group
The biatches..?
hah..nice? exterior..pretentious
Nice,only when they need something
They may come across as strong characters
Popular group etc etc
My point is:
Why do b**ches exist?

Nvm...next...
I've been back to Jb for almost 24 hours
Haha. still trying to gain the momentum
Was supposed to stay in KL til monday
following friend's car
Luckily my aunt goin s'pore for business stuff
so she dropped me off at my house
But I almost got it d..
call me kiasu
but in the presence of people studyin hard around me
No doubt reality is going to sink soon
And tell me:
"Finals is in 5 days!!!"
But have to reward myself first
Watched latest eps of Naruto and Bleach
and 2 movies i downloaded
Yea,also finished the anime Trinity Blood
it was quite good, just 24 eps
the soundtrack is very very nice

Hell,the timetable for this finals
11,13,14,16,17,19,24,26
8 miserable papers
usually 5 papers also can barely cope nia
ArGGGhhHHHH
Ok ok,I shouldn't be making excuses
so that I won't have to study
so............
SELAMAT MAJU JAYA TO ME!!~
Cheerios!~

HELICOPTER,over!!

pheewww...
realised I forgot to tell about my Heli
so,the 1st assessment was on Monday
the 2nd and the final flight testing was on Thursday
on Monday,our li'l heli didn't perform well
in fact,we kept working on it till sien liao
So we in fact named it "Poyoh Hitam"
(note: poyoh--informal which means lagak/sombong/banyak kerenah)
courtesy of my malay groupmates

til Wed nite,
it did even worse
the motors' efficiency dropped
coz maybe we keep testing with it
so perhaps it overheated etc..
Actually we overpowered it ler
Our battery supply is 12V (from motorbike wan)
our motor can only support up to 8V
then lazy use regulator--coz we already spent too much
but end up burning two motors..which is worse
Long story...
so on Wed,instead of thinkin how to improve it
Me and chanling beautified it instead
colored the whole damn heli into black
then towards the evening
since we've been doing it so long d
might as well go all the way
giving up is too late

So i retied the fuselage
looks like all the years in joining Girl Guides came in handy
apparently I was the only one who knew square lashing, ehe
coz' before that, the body is too wide
so the moment is too big,and made it too heavy, bla bla
all the theory stuff
then made it smaller
and we experimented till 2am
everytime we tested the motors
it heats up very fast
so we have to let them cool down about 10mins
of course, we entertain ourselves silly
luckily my groupmates all quite fun
ya,we changed its wiring to parallel,so the motors wont burn
before that it was series
but till 2am the heli like still gila-gila
so we really "mou ngan thai"
and closed session

the next morning
our group also quite demoralised
coz' we heard the other 6 groups' heli were superb
some can even go up to 2meters
ours barely made 30cm
our lecturer wanted to test on
Take-off,landing, hover, forward flight
ours was group 5
SURPRISINGLY, altho ours hovered very low
and its forward flight even lower
the lecturer seems to approve of it
even our avionics/vibration and control lecturer turned up
so he also became the judge lor

We also mulut ternganga
coz really first time see our heli fly so well
but as long as we can ngam ngam reach lecturer's requirement
also very the happy dee..
Maybe because ours couldn't go high
we didn't even have to control it with thread or rods
(which other groups use)
coz theirs is very imbalanced and unstable
they had to pull it down to hover, etc
ours just hovered nicely at the bottom
haha~
in our hearts we thought
"mampus ah kali ini, sial betul heli ni #%#*&^^& "

after that
the lecturer announced winners for two categories
"best architecture" and "best overall performance"
we actually placed 2nd for both categories
we were like, "HUHHH???"
we were subjected to glares of resentment by some groups
maybe they thought since ours could barely fly
but both lecturers says our hovering and forward flight very good wor
and maybe the heli in black looks good kua...
so the height didn't matter I guess
basically, our group's heli had the proper concept instead of flying blindly
the group that won both categories were very good though,
its design is very special
Haha..we were very happy
Celebrated with KFC that night
Yay...but now have to do the technical reports lo..
Wait la..I upload the pix later k
Long live Poyoh Hitam and Gagak Hitam!!!
(P/s: Gagak Hitam is us..or Gagak Merah la..
On monday our groupmates wore black, then on Thurs we wore red)

im in KL...yahoo!!~

as I speak
I'm in KL =)
well,not exactly Kay-Ell KL la..
in puchong
alighted from puduraya at about 4pm++
But I had to take the LRT to Sri Petaling
so that my cousin can come pick me up
but one small problem...
Dunno how to take LRT lah
MRT in S'pore can lah..coz got go S'pore more than KL
The last time I took LRT was when
I attended camp in UM,which was 2years ago

So I kept asking for direction,
"Tumpang tanya mana stesen LRT ar?"
Then....Haiiihhhhhhhhhh
I had to lug the 30kg luggage bag along
and another bagpack
I believe I'm not exaggerating ler..
coz my arms feel like it's longer now
Yalar, for the sake of not feeling guilty
I brought along so many books
Finals coming up ma
then clothes, DVDs (anime and movies)
etc etc etc...
I also kena tipu lar
Someone,who shall remain anonymous said
"Very near nia,it's just behind the pudu building"
Well,it is alright
Just that not user-friendly for those with heavy luggages
Haha by the time I was at the ticket counter
Sweat was trickling down all over
Arms aching
Thirsty like hell...
I have water with me laR..but want to respect those fasting ma
So cannot drink in front of the Muslims =)

Anywayz, masuk the LRT
Pudu then to Chan Sow Lin
I tot I heard the speaker announcing
have to alight at the interchange
But my feet wouldn't move
so I assumed it was just illusion/misheard
So I actually sat till Ampang
I realised I was wrong the next station la
I mean,I know how to refer the board
But lazy..so go till Ampang, duduk til Chan Sow Lin again
then only switch train
By the time reach Sri Petaling also almost 6pm...
Now?
Waiting for dinnertime in my aunt's shop...
haha after that it's party man...
but tonight maybe not goin anywhere lah
Bohlat

Tuesday, October 25, 2005

it's been a long time..

haha sorry I disappeared for sometime..
as impossible as it seems, yea..
All the tests have finished
Whether I did well or not leh..ermm ermm..
Very subjective lah this kind of results thingy
No matter how much you prepared for it, or vice versa
You might just be unlucky or just very lucky eh
Sometimes you just blank out during the tests
Or the questions that came out is exactly what you read awhile ago

Anywayz, today was our first test flight for our bamboo helicopter
Yea well, it's no longer bamboo copter ler
coz it's not very practical
so we used balsa wood as its blades, fuselage made of carbon rod etc
It did took-off..haha but hovering and moving forward ah
a bit not so successful...other group's heli also quite the same
The heli was like an irate child
Its stability was a li'l shaky, so we had to guide it with threads
But the motor burnt out,so...had to replace it..
Actually it burnt out 4.30am in the morning, and the test flight was like,10am
luckily other group had an extra motor (thanks!)
so this is the 2nd motor to burn out
it's got to do with the battery voltage we supplied and stuff
electrical stuff, bah..
So we have to keep modifying it and improvisations till the next flight test
Thursday...yeah

Meanwhile? With the tests over, it's anime time alright
been totally busy busy busy since my last test on Friday
Managed to download some anime
Now I'm hooked to these few anime:
Mai Otome, Trinity Blood, School Rumble, Blood+
But of course, I'm watching these now:
Naruto, Bleach, Initial D-4th Stage, Gundam Seed, One Piece
Hmm...finished watching Rurouni Kenshin recently
Man,if I'm half as committed to my books as I am to anime
I'd be in a very good shape =p
Did I mention that I'm addicted to manga now as well?

But also quite busy with other dramas also ler..
TVB dramas, Desperate Housewives 2nd season, etc..
No wonder I've been putting on weight
Just staying stationary on the chair

That is why I need a break
Yippie! Going KL for a week
Since it's study break now before the finals
Need to get away a bit
Party a li'l..shopping etc..
But pretty broke now, since have to put away some cash
For the Bali trip
Haiya....

Amazing anot?

Went to pasar malam just now on a bike with my roomie
And we bought a lot a lot a lot of stuff
Yeah, we could’ve used my car instead
But lazy lar, later the other housemates request banyak pulakz
What did we buy for ourselves and 5 other housemates:
45 apples+ oranges+ pears, a papaya
Char koay kak, Char mee hoon, fried rice
Ban chang kuih, Pulut, muruku
Tau fu fah, junk food
Etc etc
Only one slight problem
How to lug back all the stuff in a bike?
Haha, somehow we managed
But we did look pretty ridiculous
On the 5 min ride home
(Yea, now thongching has entrusted me to ride on her bike
instead of her fetching me liao after the accident)

3 month Anniversary

Heya...
in order to commemorate my 3month anniversary biking escapade with thongching
I'm posting up my injury pic on my shoulder (the before and after)
It’s not that obvious anymore, but still noticable

Newayz (reminisce about the old days 1st)
3 months ago, to make the long story short,
me and my roomie were on a bike on a starless night
(more like a lamp-postless night lah, ahbo we’d noticed the car)
Anywayy, we were at the junction and we didn’t stop
(although we were supposed to)
and we were hit by a car
maka melayanglah kami
(no no,it’s not like the accidents you see and imagine,
we were just in the campus on our way to the gym…
mind you, I wasn’t even wearing a helmet that time
cos I just finished talking on my handphone)
After that, yada yada yada..

In a nutshell, both of us very much alive (pheewww)
and my harga saham also jatuh d
coz the scar on my shoulder has pretty much embedded itself
No more spaghetti straps…*sobz
Like I care, hahH…
I’ll still be wearing whatever I want

Cos’ when people ask the usual:
“Omigod, whatever happened to your shoulder?”
“Oh, that ah, nothing much, was hit by a car a few months ago”
And muster my most “been there, done there” look
Tee-hee…
I hope the scar will fade out eventually, and if it doesn’t
At least I’ll remember my roomie for the rest of my life *winkz

JoKe: Kiss...

One night a guy dropped his girlfriend at her home.
As they were about to wish each other goodnight at the front door,
the guy started feeling a little in the mood.
With an air of confidence, he leaned with his hand against the wall
and smiling, he said to her:

"Honey, would you give me a kiss?"
Horrified, she replied,
"Are you mad?My parents will see us!"
"Oh come on! Who's gonna see us at this hour?"

He asked grinning at her.
"No, please. Can you imagine if we get caught?"
"Oh come on!There's nobody around, they're all sleeping!".

"No way. It's just too risky!"
"Oh please, please, I love you so much?!?".
"No, no, and no.I love you too, but I just can't!".
"Oh yes you can. Please?"
"No, no.I just can't"

"I'm begging you ... "

Out of the blue, the light on the stairs went on, and the girl's older
sister showed up in her pajamas, hair disheveled,

and in a sleepy voice she said,
"Dad says to go ahead and give him a kiss, or I can do it.
Or if need be, mom says she can come down herself and do it,
but for God's sake and all of ours....

TELL HIM TO TAKE HIS HAND OFF THE DOOR BELL!!"

Tests tests tests!!

Yesterday-Vibration and Control Test II
Just now- Materials Technology Test II
Thursday- Aircraft Structure Quiz 3 & Flight Mechanics Test II
Next Tuesday- Gas Dynamics Test II
Next Thursday- Aircraft Structure Test II
Next Friday- Aerodynamics Test III

Wahpiang-when is this all going to end?!?
and it's just tests..not to mention the upcoming finals in november
by then,as usual, spirit level will drop to almost zero
tamparan demi tamparan apabila paper demi paper
Haha..been in UTM like, this is my 7th sem already
the feeling never change
aih..got hor..1st yr..still oblivious to the kiasu-ism
which explains the abysmal results--haha
but i really enjoyed myself then

Now also considered enjoy lah, since my results haven't exactly been improving
means I'm enjoying varsity life right?
Screw the adage Study hard, party hard
Does not exist wan that shit
at least not in my vocab =P

Back to this sem.
Yeah, this sem is filled with subjects regarding aeronautics
(note the name of the subjects)
Sigh..the subjects are interesting, if there are no assessment
But our education system says so
had it been graded based on projects itself, will it be better?
for Aerodynamics, our project which is due in 2 weeks
We were supposed to fabricate a mini-helicopter
Using bamboo blades--lawakz
which can actually operate
so far none of the groups' can work yet, nasib baik
(my motto: kalau nak mati, mati bersama-sama)

Can't wait till end of november to go Bali
Yea,recent bombings right? We already paid for it more than a month ago
Surely won't cancel the trip d..
We're guessing the terrorists won't be rich enough to bomb it again then
(choi choi choi: cross our fingers)

gonna go watch Bleach now that i just downloaded
bilalah Kurosaki Ichigo want to reach bankai??!

Things You Would Never Know Without Chinese Swordsman Movies (Part II)

- the hero and the leading lady always have the time to chat and express feelings for each other when in imminent danger.
- all swordsmen can fight off a thousand canon-fodder soldiers without missing a beat.
- all swordsmen can sweep away lightning fast arrows with their swords or with their sleeves.
- some swordsmen can catch a mini flying dart with their finger tips.
- some are so powerful, can shoot lasers with their finger tips, generate enough chi to cause explosion from the ground and demolish a house/small village.
- some can freeze ppl by tapping on certain parts of the body.

And Things You Would Never Know Without Indian Movies

1. A man will show no pain while taking the most ferocious beating but will wince when a woman tries to cleanse his wounds.
2. The hero cannot fall in love with the heroine (vice versa) unless they first perform a dance number in the rain.
3. Once applied, make-up is permanent, in rain or in any other situation.
4. Two lovers can be dancing in the field and out of nowhere, 100 people will appear from god-knows-where and join them in the dance.
5. In the final scene, the hero will discover that the bad guy he is up against is actually his brother and the maid who looked after him is his mother and the chief inspector is his father and the Judge is his uncle and so forth.
6. Key English words used in the movie (usually said out loud between sentences) are No Problem! My God! Get Out!, Shut-up!, Impossible!, Please forgive me!
7. They fall on the ground and roll and roll while singing and come out with different clothing.
8. They can run around the coconut trees, singing, battling eyes-lid, and throwing glances at each other and change clothes all at the same time without being out of breath.

Things You Would Never Know Without Chinese Swordsman Movies

1. Being the hero's parents will always be unlucky and will usually be killed by enemies when the hero is young and the hero will become an orphan.
2. When a man is wounded and dying, he always manages to catch his breath and speak a few sentences to reveal the killer before dropping his head and being declared dead.
3. Skilled people are able to fly over roof tops, up trees and across distances without any sweat. But when traveling to towns and villages, they still have to walk or ride horses.
4. The heroes need not have to work for money, but will always have gold and silvers with them to pay for their dishes.
5. The heroes and villains will meet each other very often no matter how big the country is and no matter where they are.
6. Healing internal wounds in the body is as easy as sitting down cross-legged, palms on the knees and smoke coming out from the head.
7. They can keep a lot of stuff in their sleeves and waistband and never drop them (carrying especially lots of those gold and silver ingots)

Glider Challenge, Over

And so is our Green Vegetable, Resurrected.
jatuh berkecai would be an apt word tp describe it?
Anyway, today is the evaluation for our gliders
It is one of the assignments given to us for the subject Aircraft Structure I
Initially when we tested ours yesterday (test flight)
It kinda glided beautifully...hmm about a good 20metres i think, maybe?
After exposure to the sun for a good one hour, the glider terus tukar bentuk
Cos the lantern paper shrank lerR...so keksim
So today kantoi when we threw it..15 metres was our best
Oklah..not bad d~
Went to celebrate lili's birthday after the competition at SDS
Will be doing a feature on the winners after Ah Lun upload the pix
Really keat tao

Politics

Son: Dad, I have a special report for school. Can I ask you a question?
Dad: Sure son, what's the question?
Son: What is politics?
Dad: Well son, let's take our home for example. I am the wage earner, so let's call me the management. Your mother is the administrator of the money, so let's call her the government. We take care of you and your needs, so let's call you the people. We'll call the maid the working class and your baby brother the future. Understand?
Son: I'm not really sure dad, I'll have to think about it.

That night, the boy is awakened by his baby brother's crying, so he went to see what was wrong.Discovering that the baby had a heavily soiled nappy, the boy went to his parent's room and found his mother fast asleep. He than went to the maid's room, where, peeking through the keyhole, he saw his father in bed with the maid. The boy's knocking went totally unheard. The boy went backto his room and went to sleep.

The next morning...
Son: Dad, I think I understand politics.
Dad: That's great son, explain it to me in your own words.
Son: While the management is screwing the working class, the government is fast asleep, the people are being completely ignored and the future is full of shit.

Avionics & Instrumentation

SIgh...
Wat a busy busy hectic week..
Yeps..time flies, tomorrow it's friday again..
Today it's a first for me alright
We were assigned this take-home test on Monday
For this subject AVIONICS & INSTRUMENTATION
Huhhh?? What's avionics, you may wonder..
Don't be, cos' I've been taking this subject for the whole sem
and I'm still totally clueless
avionics is simply aviation & electronics..
Anyways, we were supposed to pass up this Thursday
which is today

The lecturer was pretty kind, cos he made it take-home
therefore it means it's subjected to discussions
which means we can saling mencopy
And means, we can wait for somebody to actually finish it up
Ahhh...then only borrow it to Xerox, rite?
Too ideal..I guess even the brainies are fed-up with parasites
flocking to them all the time
just expecting answers
and I admit, I'm a full-fledged parasite
hehe..

Anyways, we congregated at aero house at midnight
I figured by midnight the brains have already produced results
RITE
When we went there, the Parasite Club members are also there alright
They were also waiting for answers
Even the indian coursemates came
(usually it's just the 20 of us chineses)
NOPE, no answers yet
We were like, "Damn, we should've came later instead"
selfish huh
But this time's paper is pretty tough
So even our geniuses had a hard time
By 5am, out of 3 questions, we only had 1.5 answers
then the malay coursemates came pulaks after their sahur
Smart asses
When we went for class this morning
We jz managed to pass up in time
Cos out of this 60+ students in this subject
Only 3 or 4 were the ones who actually did it
The rest of us were just like photocopy machines
The lecturer specifically wanted it handwritten
So with all the passing around the papers
It did take some time
Gave a new meaning to the phrase:
" Knowledge is to be shared"

Wonder how all of us gonna take the finals for this subject

Dewa~Pupus

Aku tak mengerti
Apa yang ku rasa
Rindu yang tak pernah
Begitu hebatnya
Aku mencintaimu lebih dari yang kau tahu
Meski kau tak'kan pernah tahu

Aku persembahkan hidupku untukmu
Telah kurelakan hatiku padamu
Namun kau masih bisu
Diam seribu bahasa
Dan hati kecilku bicara
Baru ku sadari
Cintaku bertepuk sebelah tangan
Kau buat remuk seluruh hatiku

Semoga waktu akan mengilhami sisi hatimu yang beku
Semoga akan datang keajaiban
Hingga akhirnya kau pun mau
Aku mencintaimu

Lebih dari yang kau tahu
Meski kau tak'kan pernah tahu

Not once,but TWICE..and that's what,3hrs??
Then chattering away with my housemates
Gosh this is so boring!~

Occupational Hazards

Two engineering students meet on campus one day.
The first engineer calls out to the other,
"Hey --Nice bike! Where did you get it?"
"Well," replies the other,
"I was walking to class the other day when this pretty, young coed rides up on this bike.
She jumps off, takes off all of her clothes, and says
'You can have ANYTHING youwant!!'"
"Good choice," says the first, "her clothes wouldn't have fit you anyway."

Love is Not Love

A bell is not a bell until you ring it
A song is not a song until you sing it
Love in your heart is not put there to stay
Love is not love until you give it away

Aww..now,isn't that sweet?

PART II

then when we went into the car
She (yes,a she) tried to prove she
certainly do know something about football
"well, hooiching, at least i know that World Cup
is going to be held next year" (smugly)
"yes, you are right..WC IS next year"
and i cant resist but ask..
"so do you know where is it goin' to be held?"
"er...(thinks hard)..no where ar?"
"germany 2006"
"ahhH...Germany..nice place it is..thought it's someplace
weird, based on the look on your face.."
she smiles in embarassment and then asked again
"so last time 2002 at where ah?"
"(OMG,where were you that time?? Mars?!!??) Japan & Korea"
"ahhhH..."
and that conversation made my day =)
(i still love her all the same, albeit her ignorance in football, haha)
that is,till the 2 horrible tests this afternoon and just now

OMG,is that for real?

was totally busy for the past month
no,not busy with the silly assignments
although i should be
gas dynamics, aerodynamics, flight mechanics
material technology, avionics.. (stop it!)
okie okie, excuses for not blogging then..
momentum is easily lost i guess

PART I
anywayz, i was heading towards the car today
my friend was like, showing me today's paper
"See,see,england actually lost to ireland!"
and i went, "okayy.."
i didn't know he was a football freak
then on the cover was owen's pic
so i just saja engaged in some small talk
"so u know owen went to newcastle d rite?"
"Of course..that's too bad huh"
"yalor...missed out the chance in yada, yada yada"
and thenn...
Another friend of mine had to comment,
"newcastle huh..that's too bad..
looks like Man Utd. is losing all the talented ppl"
Omigod~
talk abt being ignorant..
we kinda burst out laughing
"dear, owen isn't from man utd..he used to play for liverpool,
and that's like so long ago..he went to real madrid"
"oops,he isn't?too bad.."

STEALTH

after a whole stressful week or rather, lack of it
(cos the gazillion tests & assignments will only be comin up next week)
whole bunch of us went to JB-CitySquare
to catch a movie..Stealth..
of course,shopping also lah
since our disbursements just got in
Mega Sales Carnival wor
As usual, City Square is packed with ppl
singaporeans,malaysians etc..
but surprisingly, its cineplax is pretty quiet
d movie was good..kinda like, relevant to the field i'm pursuing
but just that in the movie,it was much more dramatic
Anyways, now we noe why d cineplax was so quiet
as we left CS,we went 2 pay our parking ticket
A staggering sum of..RM8!!!
wahlao..it was even more expensive than the movie ticket itself
i mean, yea,it wont even buy us a Starbucks frapppuchino..
but..hello?..patutlah now everyone flockin to GSC at Pelangi Leisure Mall instead d
free parking..
but if want 2 shop-shop,still hv 2 go 2 CS lah, boh-pien
I miss penang..
why?: parking at most also RM3-4 lah,whole day..this RM8 is like,4hrs nia..
and if not?..as proud stingy penangites, we alwiz hv infamous illegal parking style
park in front of houses, abandoned houses, on top of sidewalks (gurney, familiar? =P) etc..
and jz go to wherever we want very pangsim-ly
and come out to find our vehicles still intact
JB?..the RM8 is inevitable..why pulaks?
try that penang parking style..come out?u might find a wheel or two missin'
(if you are lucky--and that's cos' you locked your steering wheel and gear)
car theft is like,so so so 'it' in JB..*sigh
conclusion: RM8 ma RM 8 lo..

UCAV EDI 'tin man'

my house in jhr..

another view

this side a bit not so...clearlah rite? probably cant look beyond d few hundred metres

can see laH

still can see the houses in front of mine..

thus,i went out 2 my balcony 2 take a few pics
hmm..still ok-okla skudai..
not that hazy
