THAILAND 2006!*part II

Day 8(Sunday) -Surat Thani/Phuket
Oh..Yesterday after goin Chatuchak, then we boarded a bus to Surat Thani fuuuh (12 hours?), and took a 2 hour van to Phuket..in total we spent about 15 hours on the road..We wanted to go Koh Phi Phi straight, but it's supposed to be expensive since its peak season, so we went Phuket instead.

Day 9(Monday)-Phuket
Walked around in Phuket, went the beach the whole day (Patong Beach)..our volleyball was bitten by a dog and Fred was also bitten by the same dog. haha. oh, there were a lot of prostitutes at one of the streets -_-" the beach was inundated with topless females though wuhuhu..

Day 10(Tuesday)-Koh Phi Phi

Departed at 7.30am and the trip ended at 5pm...Gosh, Koh Phi Phi is so beautiful!! We took a boat about 2 hrs to the island but before that we went Maya Bay to snorkel and sightseeing. Upon reaching the island, we headed for a buffet lunch and then us 3 climbed up to View Point 2..definitely worth our money!!! =)Us on the way to Maya Bay..I know, those 2 guys nice body..not me =( I used to have nia. haha

Day 11(Wednesday)-Phuket/Surat Thani
Fred went for a morning jog, I went for a morning swim at Patong beach, and JS slept in (like a pig)..haha checked out the guest house and took a bus to Surat Thani in the evening. We went to check out some landmarks in Surat Thani..then boarded a super long trip eh bus back to Bangkok

Day 12(Thursday)-Bangkok
Walked to our Bangkok International Youth Hostel (YH)..oh we spent the evening watching Thai Girl Show (Tiger Show) in Patpong which was very..erm..interesting..can open bottle caps, shoot pingpong balls, pop bananas, can contain water, shoot darts, etc etc etc..interesting. haha initially Fred and JS were worried than they cannot contain their, erm, "excitement" while watching the show, but the girls weren't that, hot, but they had very special skills, so they could sabar the whole nite lah. haha.

Day 13(Friday)-Bangkok

We went to visit many temples, Khaosan Road, Siam Paragon again and walked around.We met up with Yui (Fred's friend) and we stayed at her place for the weekend. =) His friend is obviously chun la hahaha..In temples, posing by the roadside and Siam Paragon Xmas Tree

Day 14(Saturday)-Pattaya

Went to Siam Square i think..also dunno what the name is, but reputed to be the biggest mall? i tot it's Siam Paragon, anyways we had lunch there, then we went to Pattaya, did some sightseeing,had dinner there and went up the peak =) oh we went to club there. jeez I also forgot the name of the club d, too long ago liao..haha. but it was pretty good. then we drove back to Bangkok..oh we had fried crickets, grasshoppers, woodworms?..yummy..better than the rats lah..it tasted like the one I had in cambodia

Day 15(Sunday)-Bangkok
Woke up and went to have a late lunch with Yui and her uncle..then we departed...and bid farewell to Thailand. =)

haihs, sampai penang pun 4am in the morning(Monday) d...but it was very fun having Fred and JS around..them very the cute and funny ppl.By day 14 they were so so so dark and tanned everyone mistook them for being Siamese..cute ones in fact, so all spoke to us in Thai. Haha, but their Thai very the cannot ler. ho ho ho..we attempted to speak complete Hokkien throughout the whole trip and it was so hilarous trying to translate or rojak Hokkien into pure Hokkien. But yeah, I definitely enjoyed myself immensely with them! Can't wait for my next trip..but now on strict budget la..pokai d..

P/S: Yay..so proud of finally finishing the post, it was a gruelling task compiling the pictures..woo hoo. it's pretty obvious that towards the end of the descriptions it has been very very much shortened =P

P/P/S: And YES..I looked horrible throughout the two weeks coz I tot backpackers are supposed to rough it, so I brought minimal clothing and only brought a simple cleanser (no toner, moisturiser etc, gasp!!) and made it without make-up. Ho ho ho. horrible!! And of course, your job is to console me and say, "no, you look good to me" haha. Thanks to these two guys, I gained a healthy 2kgs being a glutton..they eat a lot a lot, so did I!
